My name is Francine B, and I am a dedicated and experienced home carer with a passion for helping others. Fran cared for my best friend Pauline Karminski for a little under two years until Pauline dies in January this year. Pauline had dementia and grew progressively worse. She always a somewhat difficult woman with a bit of a sharp tongue but Fran coped marvellously. Pauline had been in a very expensive care home but the care she received did not compare in any way with the care she received from Fran. I saw Pauline practically every week (as I live near to where Pauline was living with Fran). She was always beautifully clean and well dressed. I saw that Fran cooked good wholesome meals and the house was always spotlessly clean. Until it was no longer possible Fran took Pauline out and about so as to stimulate her. Sadly she was not visited very much by children (two sons live near Newmarket, one daughter lives in France and one daughter in London who did not visit at all other than when Pauline was near death) so myself and my son, who Pauline adored, were her most frequent visitors.
